What we collect

Your account details (via Firebase Authentication), your audit answers (home characteristics, energy usage, appliance ages), actions you log, and clicks on partner links. Guests can complete an audit without an account; guest audits are stored against an anonymous session identifier.

Location & k-anonymity on the map

Your household never appears at its exact location. Suburbs show only an aggregated count until at least 3 households in that suburb have opted in (k-anonymity). Individual dots, when shown, are street-segment-fuzzed (~250 m grid with random offset) and labelled only with a pseudonym. Displaying anything more precise is strictly opt-in and off by default.

Credits

Credits are loyalty points only. They have no cash value, cannot be transferred between users, and can be changed or withdrawn per our Terms.

Affiliate links

When you follow a partner link we log the partner, category, your suburb (postcode), and a timestamp so we can be paid a commission. This never changes the price you pay.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time by contacting us. We store data in Australia (AWS ap-southeast-2).
